Dublin Woman Says Irish Guide Dog 'Eldin' Have Given Her Huge Security & Confidence Boost

Dublin-based woman Caoimhe Grogan says her she can't remember life before her Irish Guide Dog 'Eldin'.

Caoimhe is visually impaired and lives and works in Dublin city.

Her Irish Guide Dog 'Eldin' came into her life in 2019.

She says he's given her a huge confidence and security boost.

The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind launched their May campaign last week.

They are asking people to walk, run or swim 100km in May.

The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind help hundreds of people around Ireland who are visually impaired or have autism.

Rachael spoke to Jennifer Hurley, Regional Development Officer for the Eastern Region.

She spoke about the journey service dogs go on from pup, to working dog.
