A Dublin couple were picked out of 45,000 applicants to become caretakers of the Great Blasket Island in Co Kerry.
Eoin Boyle and Annie Birney moved to the island last week and will greet visitors over the summer sesason. They are in charge of the island's guesthouses and café.
