A recent survey from Phonewatch shows that a burglary takes place in Ireland every 31 minutes. It also revealed that Dublin accounts for 45% of all burglaries - Dundrum Garda Station was Ireland's busiest station in 2018 with 456 burglaries reported there last year.
We heard some terrifying stories on the show today of homes around Ireland which have been burgled, including from Anne who was in bed when her home was robbed and from Denise who had everything in her house taken while her brother slept upstairs - including her pet bearded dragon.
