Is it time that we scrap car parking fees in hospitals? That's the question we asked Dublin Talk listeners today. 

It’s been revealed that Irish hospitals are pulling in over €60,000 a day from parking charges. Figures from the HSE have shown that hospitals around the country made €22.4million from parking fees in 2017. We heard from a number of listeners who have paid huge amounts of money on parking while visiting friends and families in Irish hospitals.

Including Susan who spent over €1,500 on car park fees while visiting her ill mother:
