This morning on Dublin Talks we asked you if you think groups which say they are out to catch sexual predators are doing a service for the public, or if they should leave matters up to the Gardaí.
Over the weekend a confrontation in an area of Dublin between a 'paedophile hunting' group and a man turned violent. An Garda Siochána have raised concerns about the activities of these groups saying that "confrontation between such groups and their targets has the potential for violence." They also said that anyone with information regarding child safety should report it straight to the Gardaí.
We spoke to many Dubliners on this topic today, including Louise who is part of the group 'Child Protection Awareness' who were behind yesterday's 'sting'.
