"I'm Being Asked To Spend €850 On One" - Parents Protest Against Use Of iPads In Schools

This week, parents in Meath have signed a petition against the use of iPads at Rathoath College. The school does not use printed books for junior cycle students and have advised parents to buy €500 iPads for their children.

We spoke to parent and former teacher Nicola Kearns who says that the iPads at the school are being "widely misused" and a "distraction for the kids".

We spoke to a lot of parents who are forked up to €900 for iPads and books for their kids every year:
