Dublin Suburb Is Dubbed ''The New Templebar'' After Last Weekend
The village of Blackrock has found itself at the heart of controversy this week.
After scenes from last weekend showing large crowds congregating,
Getting takeaway pints and drinking them in groups on the street emerged on social media.
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council placed on street furniture earlier this year as part of its response to Covid-19,
This furniture has been blamed for people congregating to purchase takeaway drinks from local pubs.
With some calling for the removal of the outdoor furniture in the centre of the village.
Councillor Mary Hanafin of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council was on to discuss the issue with Adrian.
