In the middle of Dublin's housing crisis, we brought good news to house hunters in the city today - a Dublin landlord is offering their house in Ongar at half the estimated rental price.
The landlord who wanted to remain anonymous said she's doing this to help a young couple trapped in the rental market save for a mortgage. The house is a two bed located beside Ongar village in Dublin 15. In order to apply you must be able to prove you're saving for a mortgage, are in full time employment and have references from previous landlords.
The rental value of the house is between €1600-1700 a month, the Dublin landlord in questions is offering the property for half that at €800 a month.
