Dublin South Councillors have passed a motion which will allow the use of mobile homes in back gardens as temporary accommodation.
We spoke to Councillor Ruth Nolan who put forward the motion in the first and spoke to a Dubliners who feel like this could be a good solution to the housing crisis. Jay got in touch to say that he put a mobile home in his back garden for his son, allowing him to save for a mortgage.
