'Ashamed' and 'Embarrassed' To Call Themselves Dubliners - Reaction To Shocking City Centre Video

This morning on the show we discussed a video which was recorded on Dublin's Westmoreland Street on Wednesday night.

In the video teenagers can be seen taunting Deliveroo drivers and throwing their bikes around, the anti social behaviour also brought buses to a standstill. While Gardaí have said they were aware of the incident, none were seen on the scene for the entirety of the video.

We heard from callers as far as Perth in Australia saying that they were ashamed to call themselves Dubs after seeing the video. However, some felt that the video has been blown out of proportion. Lots of people got in touch to say they've witnessed a lot of anti social behaviour in the city and that more Gardaí need to be patrolling our streets.

"It's not normal for young fellas or women to be walking around the streets like a pack of animals. You should be to walk down the street without the fear of someone trying to rob your phone or a scumbag  trying to start a fight with you"
