Woman Injured In Tallaght Shooting

A woman has been injured in a shooting in Tallaght.

It was one of a number of incidents in the area last night.

The first happened just ever 10 pm when Gardaí received reports that a gun had been fired at a house in Jobstown.

A woman in her 30s was hurt and went to Tallaght Hospital where her injuries have been described as non life threatening.

Later in the night, Gardaí and emergency services were called to two further separate incidents in the area when a car was set on fire and a house was also set alight.

Nobody was injured in those incidents.

Technical exams are being carried out at the scenes this morning.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Jobstown area, between 9.30pm and 3:00am, who may have witnessed these incidents to come forward.

Gardaí are appealing to those with camera footage or to any motorist with dash cam footage to make it available to them.
