A woman hit by a Garda patrol car in Clondalkin this morning has died in hospital.
The 75 year old was being treated at Tallaght Hospital for serious injuries.
She was hit by the car while walking at 11:20 this morning on the Fonthill Road.
The Garda Watchdog, GSOC, is investigating.
Traffic diversions are in place at the scene, and GSOC is appealing for witnesses to contact it.
