Motorists are being reminded to drive with care as a weather alert for snow/ice remains in place this morning for all of Ireland.
Overnight snow showers in Ulster and Connacht resulted in accumulations of up to 3cm.
Elsewhere, widespread frost and ice has resulted in treacherous conditions on untreated roads.
