Cyclists are being warned about going over the Sally Gap alone after a man had his bike stolen there yesterday.
A Dublin man tweeted to say he was robbed by two men in a car close to the junction leading to the mountain pass.
He was able to hold on to his mobile phone because he was carrying it in his jersey pocked rather than on his bike.
So I've just had this happen to me an hour ago 100 yards from the Sally Gap junction.

Gardaí confirmed a bicycle was reported stolen.
Local Sinn Féin TD John Brady says it was a horrific incident -- and it's not the first time it's happened.
"It could have been a hell of a lot worse, he could have been knocked unconscious and left on the side of the road with no means of contact," he said.
"[There] just needs to be a warning to people out there, cyclists, just to be cautious," he said. "It's frightening. These incidents, they're not widespread -- there have been a few, a handful, reported over the last couple of months."
"I hope it isn't a new emerging crime trend that we're witnessing here but I would caution cyclists to be vigilant, to take precautions.
He had some advice for cyclists using the Wicklow uplands.
"If at all possible, go out in a group or at least [with] another cyclist and just be vigilant," he said.
