St James's Hospital is to become the first in the country to trial virtual reality headsets for patients.

It's being considered to help people with early stage dementia.

The headsets will be used at its Hollybrook Lodge residential care unit to engage older residents and give them new experiences.

It's being trialed by 20 patients - and the hospital says it's received positive feedback.
