Ukulele players from across the globe will descend on Dun Laoghaire in Dublin today for the Ukulele Hooley.
The event which is now in its 10th year kicks off at midday at the People's Park.
Festival Organiser of the Ukulele Hooley Niall Carty explains what's going on:
"We have a big jungle jam where hopefully we have a few thousand ukulele players playing along ukulele songs with the jungle team this year."
"We also have our uke factor winners so that's young people that recorded videos and put them up on YouTube and we've judged them and awarded them a uke factor award and they'll be performing on stage as well."
The fabulous Sheilagh Fox’s free kids workshop is on at 3pm, in the Peoples Park, on Sunday. No need to register. The workshop is free. Download the songbook. Bring your ukulele or we should have some available to play during the workshop. #UkuleleHooley2018 pic.twitter.com/qIbBawKDT4

Here’s my #poster #illustration for this weekend’s @Ukuhooley festival in #Dunlaoghaire (it’s so good the Pope aka the ‘Hooley’ Father is over the same weekend! 😉) It’s great fun for all the family & free concert on the Sunday - bring your #ukulele! https://t.co/eK82R2uHNq 🎸🙠pic.twitter.com/L3BFHUE85G
