Two Teens Arrested After Henry Street Burglary

Two teenagers have been arrested after a business was robbed in Dublin city centre in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí say four people entered a premises on Henry Street at around 1am and removed a large amount of property.

Two men in their late teens were found a short distance away and arrested. They've both since been charged and are due to appear in court this morning.

A Garda spokesperson says; "Gardaí in Store Street arrested two men (late teens) following a burglary at a business premises on Henry Street, Dublin 1 in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 13th December, 2023.

At approximately 1am, four persons entered a business premises on Henry Street and removed a large amount of property. Gardaí located two males a short distance away with this property and both men were arrested and taken to a Garda station in the city centre of Dublin where they were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Both men have since been charged in relation to this burglary and are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, this morning Wednesday 13th December, 2023 at 10.30a.m."
