British prosecutors have named two Russian nationals suspected of carrying out a nerve-agent attack in Salisbury.
Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov are accused of conspiring to murder former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia with a military-grade agent called Novichok in March.
Police have issued images of the suspects, adding that they travelled to the UK under aliases and that these aren't their real names.
The Crown Prosecution Service says they won't be seeking extradition as the Russian constitution doesn't allow for extradition of it's own nationals, but a European Arrest Warrent has been issued.
Sue Hemming of the CPS said: “Prosecutors from CPS Counter Terrorism Division have considered the evidence and have concluded there is sufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction and it is clearly in the public interest to charge Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov."
Sergei Skripal - a former Russian spy - and his daughter Yulia were poisoned with the nerve agent Novichok in March.
Although both were critically ill in the wake of the attack in Salisbury, they have since been discharged from hospital.
It was confirmed this week that the nerve agent that killed British woman Dawn Sturgess in July was the same used against the Skripals.
