Two men are being quizzed following the seizure of firearms on Friday.
The men, aged 39 and 44, were arrested as part of an intelligence led operation by the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, assisted by the Emergency Response Unit and national units.
The first man was taken for questioning after a car was stopped and searched on Clonshaugh Avenue in Coolock.
During the search, Gardaí seized two firearms and arrested the driver.
Nearby, a van was stopped on Clonshaugh Road and the second man was arrested.
