Two men have been arrested in connection with a post office raid and another robbery in Tallaght yesterday afternoon.
At around a quarter past four, a man entered the post office in Glenview armed with a hatchet.
He threatened staff and customers before escaping in a car, with some cash.
Less than half an hour later, a man entered a premises on Old Bawn Way also threatening staff with a hatchet.
He fled the scene in a car with a large amount of cash.
After the alarm was raised, gardai located the car and chased two men on foot.
The men aged 32 and 34 were arrested and are due before Dublin District Court later.
