Gardai have arrested two young men for the hoax bomb alert at the Intel plant in Co. kildare.
On the 13th of January hundreds of Intel workers were evacuated from the plant after a bomb scare was called in that morning.
The alert turned out to be be a hoax but it cost the company million in lost production and caused major traffic chaos in the town.
After investigating phone records, gardai discovered that the call came from a phone box in Balbriggan.
It was selaed off and DNA and CCTV footage taken from the scene.
On Friday two men aged 19 and 20 were picked up at their homes in Balbriggan and questioned by gardai.
They were subsequently released without charge and files are being prepared for the DPP.
