There's been a drugs bust in Ranelagh.
The seizure happened yesterday evening at Swan Grove following a surveillance operation into heroin dealing in the south inner city.
Seven blocks of the drug, weighing half a kilo each and worth around 525 thousand euro were found during the search of a house.
The sting involved officers from the Kevin Street drugs unit, the Emergency Response Unit and other gardai.
A man and a woman aged in their 40s were arrested at the scene.
The woman has since been released without charge while the man is being held at Kevin Street Garda station.
