Two men have been arrested after guns were found in North Dublin.
Members of the Garda Drug and Organised Crime Bureau, helped by the Emergency Response Unit stopped and searched a car on Clonshaugh Avenue in Coolock as part of an intelligence led operation.
They found two firearms, subject to analysis, and arrested the driver.
At the same time, a van was stopped on the Clonshaugh Road and a man was arrested.
The two, aged 39 and 44, are being held at Coolock Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
Investigations are continuing.
