TV3's announced it is to re-brand as Virgin Media Television later in the year.
Managing-director Pat Kiely made the announcement at the launch of it's new spring schedule.
A spokesperson said the change would see the channels re-named - with details to be announced down the line.
The new schedule will see an extension of The Tonight Show - as well as the Six Nations and Ireland's Got Talent beginning in February.
