Love him or loathe him, Donald Trump has had one hell of a 2016.
Despite the majority of American's casting their vote for Hilary Clinton in November's election, the US Electoral College System meant Trump would claim the victory.
The billionaire will be inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States on January 20th, 2017.
Prior to that, he's issued a New Year's message to both his loyal supporters, and enemies:
