Three people have lost their lives in a collision in County Waterford.
Six others received serious injuries.
The accident happened on the N72, known locally as Military Road, outside Dungarvan at around 10am.
The three people died after their car went on fire following the crash.
Six people in the second car - including children - were seriously injured and airlifted to hospital.
The stretch of road remains sealed off for a forensic examination.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact Dungarvan Garda Station.
