The announcement of the demonstration comes amid growing calls for Pope Francis to meet with some the survivors of clerical abuse while he is in Dublin.

Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin, has admitted that he is not sure if the Pope will have the time to meet with some of those who were abused by Catholic priests in Ireland as children.

"The time is very tight, you would have to get a small group who is representative, and is is never easy to do that", he said.

One of the organisers of Pope Francis' trip to Dublin says he can't come to Ireland without addressing the issue of abuse.

Brenda Drumm from The World Meeting of Families said "I hope he will come to address the issues of concern to people in the church and to people who are no longer part of the church".

"I think he can't come to Ireland without addressing the issue of abuse", she said.
