The Labour Leader says more and more people in typical jobs, are unable to afford the cost of housing in Dublin.
Brendan Howlin's reacting to a report by the Economist that house prices in the city are 25 per cent over-valued against income.
He says nearly 10,000 people are sleeping rough and over 100,000 households are on waiting lists for social housing and it's not their fault.
Deputy Howlin says what's needed is to make housing more affordable.
