One of London's most famous restaurants is coming to Dublin. The Ivy is known to play host to the rich and famous alongside foodies in its English eateries.
They are based across London in areas like Soho and Marylebone, and the company also has brasseries in places including Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Bristol.
The Ivy in Dublin will open on Dawson Street, after being given planning approval by An Bord Pleanala. Bosses say they "are aiming to open in late spring next year."
"We’re delighted to have been granted permission on our plans for The Ivy Dawson Street, and excited to get work on the restaurant underway", a statement read.
"Dublin City Centre has a vibrant and diverse dining scene, so we’re thrilled to be a part of this and look forward to bringing The Ivy Collection to Dublin in 2018."
The restaurant will serve breakfast, weekend brunch, afternoon tea, snacks and dinner, early morning to late evening, seven days a week.
It will also offer an extensive cocktail list and a broad range of wines from around the world.
