TG4 has apologised after an "unfortunate" ident was shown before its new programme on Wednesday.
The station branding depicted a giant kicking a caravan off a cliff and into the sea, just moments before a news presenter reported on the death of a woman in Storm Ali.
The woman, in her fifties, was killed when her caravan was blown off a cliff in Galway.
Images showed the woman's caravan having landed in water on the beach below.
TG4 said the ident was auto-scheduled and only ran once.
The Irish language station apologised for the 'unfortunate scheduling' and said that it was immediately removed.
