Students are set to help launch a new bill this afternoon on how teens learn sex education in schools.
It aims to remove religious ethos from teaching about sexuality and relationships, as well as covering LGBT issues and consent.
Solidarity TD Ruth Coppinger says they got good feedback from pupils.
She says "we got a strong response with many emailing in their experience of when they asked questions they were told they weren't allowed to deal with that, or they simply didn't get the answers".
