Well, one Dublin pub and restaurant is trying its best to persuade people to hang up their mobiles, and focus on their food and friends.
This weekend, The Old Spot on Bath Avenue says it's willing to offer a 20% discount on Sunday lunch to people who agree to hand their phones in for half an hour.
