Symphysiotomy Survivors Gather In The Capital Today

Survivors of the cruel symphysiotomy procedure carried out on women during childbirth in Ireland up to the 1980's will today gather their response to the government's possibility of a redress scheme.

The concern is that these women, many of whom are in their 70s and 80s will not get compensation.
