Suspected Terrorist Sympathiser Arrested In Dublin

A man travelling on a fake passport arrested at Dublin Airport is due before a special court sitting this evening.

It's understood the French-Algerian may be a supporter of last week's terror attacks in France.

The 34 year old suspect was being monitored by international agencies and gardai were contacted that he was arriving into Dublin airport at 9 o'clock this morning.

He came in off an international flight where officers were waiting for him.

It's reported that the French Algerian had expressed support for last week's terror attacks in Paris.

The man was arrested for possessing a fake passport and taken to Ballymun garda station for questioning.

He's now appearing before the district court to be charged in conection wtih the offence.
