Researchers have unveiled 25 major milestones and the ages by which we should achieve them, apparently.
Some of these would include the first kiss at 15, buying your first car at 22, and getting engaged at 25.
The study, commissioned by Amigo Loans, draws on the experiences of almost 2,000 adults aged between 16 - 65.
Early/Mid twenties revealed the more enjoyable milestones, such as going on a holiday or moving out with your friends. Similarly, being a bridesmaid/best man at 23 and renting by yourself at 24 marks the end of the fun-filled careless youth.
According to the data, getting married and purchasing your first flat should be ticked off the list at the age of 27.
The team of researchers found that once people hit the scary 30, they tend to move to bigger homes, earn bigger salaries, or even start their own business. Or hope to do all those things.
Some of the most difficult milestones to achieve were passing a driving test and buying a new car.
The data showed that people expect to go into the pleasant retirement at around the time they turn 60.
Some of the proposed milestones have been criticized by those on social media, many of whom proposed their own slightly more realistic goals.
