Students from a Co. Dublin secondary school are protesting outside the Dáil calling for a new building for St. Joseph's in Rush.
Over 100 children are on the waiting list for the school for next September.
The community has been long promised a new school to facilitate the growing population in the Fingal area.
Transition Year student Caodum Price says the school is overcrowded:
"If you're walking in the corridor it's quite crammed we have stuff introduced like one-way systems and all but even with the one-way systems there's a lot of space that's just not there."
"With all the new students that want to come in that have been denied we know its not our fault but in the way it has an impact on the students it makes us feel bad."
