35 thousand homes and businesses have been left without power because of Storm Hector.
Dublin has fared relatively better than the western half of the country but around 386 homes are dealing with outages in Ballyboden, Clondalkin and Leopardstown.
However a yellow warning remains in place until 10am this morning.

There are also reports of fallen trees across the country and Gardaí are urging motorists to take care on the roads.
Almost 2,000 properties are without power in Bray and Macetown.
