Pratically every shop on one side of the street in Stepaside has been burgled since the garda station was closed.
There's calls for gardai to prevent robberies in the area instead of responding after the fact.
The Justice Minister says there has been an increase in patrols.
But Independent TD Shane Ross says that's not being felt on the ground..
