The Solar Eclipse has come and is almost gone. Unfortunately, because there was so much fog over Dublin not a lot of people got to see it fully. It did peak out of the clouds a few times.
A huge crowd gathered at Trinity to witness the spectacular. They were given a special pair of glasses to safely view the astronomical event - and there were high quality telescopes fitted with solar filters.
