An Independent Deputy is calling for more social housing to be built across the country.
There are currently 90,000 people on the national waiting list, 4,000 of whom are in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown in Dublin.
People Before Profit TD Richard Boyd Barrett will join protesters for a demonstration at the "Deerhunter" site in Sallynoggin this afternoon.
The NAMA owned site has been described as one of many examples where Government could build social housing.
Deputy Boyd Barrett says there are many benefits to building these homes.
