A new Millward Brown poll for today's Sunday Independent has found that 72 per cent of people believe coming out as gay won't influence the Health Minister's career.
Voters were also asked how they plan to vote in the same-sex marriage referendum and the response was an emphatic 'yes' - with 62 per cent claiming they'll vote in favour of it.
