Sinn Fein Ask For Seat Back After City Councillor Quits Party

Sinn Fein has asked a Dublin City Councillor who resigned from the party in a row over bullying to hand back her seat.

Noeleen Reilly was elected to the council on the Sinn Fein ticket in 2014.

She stepped down from the party last night, citing a failure of leadership to deal with a campaign of bullying against her.

However, in a statement in the last hour, Sinn Fein claims that it was Reilly who was bullying a fellow female party Councillor.
