Second Brother Dies After Portmarnock Work Accident

A second man who was injured in a fatal work accident in Portmarnock has died.

Thirty four year Stephen Harris from Crumlin passed away at Beaumont hospital at 9am this morning.

His older brother 45 year old Alan died on Wednesday when they were working on a sewer at Drumnigh Wood estate.

The family of Steve Harris have requested that their privacy be respected. 

The investigations by the gardai and the Health and Safety Authority are continuing.

The brothers were cousins of Irish soccer captain Robbie Keane who has thanked everyone for their kind messages and support.
