Search Continues For iPhone Belonging To Murdered Cameron Reilly

Gardaí investigation the murder of Cameron Reilly have issued a fresh appeal to young people in Dunleer, Co Louth.

On Saturday morning, the body of 18-year-old was discovered in a field in Rivervale in Dunleer, with injuries to his neck.

It’s believed some young people may have vital information on Cameron's murder, but may be worried about coming forward as they were drinking or taking drugs that night.

However, Superintendent Andrew Watter has moved to reassure them that is not their primary concern or focus.

He explained: "The primary focus of this investigation is to establish for Cameron's family the truth as to what happened to Cameron."

The search is continuing for Cameron's iPhone 8 Plus, which has a distinctive black and lime green cover.

It is believed the phone my hold answers to some questions about what happened on the night Cameron died.

A number of people have been interviewed over the past few days, but no arrests have been made.

The Army is helping gardaí this evening at the crime scene as they try and find any evidence to help in the investigation into Cameron's death.
