A roof has been blown off a house in Portmarnock after high winds overnight.
Dublin Fire Brigade were called after it came away near the racecourse at around ten past one this morning.
Earlier, crews dealt with fallen trees in the area but there are no reports of any injuries.
Meanwhile the country is bracing itself for more snow showers today.
Met Eireann Forecaster Gerry Murphy says "today is going to be another cold and blustery day with plenty of showers; mainly of rain and sleet during the day but after dark, when the temperature falls, there will be a risk of some snow showers as we go through tonight. Particularly over Ulster."
