The Right2Water campaign group says it will be announcing a new programme of events next week.
The alliance - which includes five trade unions - says a national demonstration will be included.
The anti-water charge campaigners will reveal a political strategy against the charges.
Last weekend, tens of thousands took to the streets of Dublin, as well as towns and cities around the country, to demonstrate their opposition to the water charges.
