A number of people have received bogus calls from people pretending to work at the Revenue office.
These people have demanded payment of an outstanding tax bill or have stated that a criminal case is being taken against the individual.
Revenue has stated these people are not calling from their offices and if people have doubts about a call they receive, they should contact their local Revenue Office.
