There are reports that a light aircraft has crashed on Mount Leinster.
Emergency services were alerted after a hillwalker reported seeing the plane coming down.
The Waterford based helicopter, Rescue 117, is at the scene to search for the aircraft.
The South East Mountain Rescue Association and other emergency services are travelling to the reported location.
