The two men who died in the air crash in Co Wexford have been named as 69 year old Bryan Keane and 58 year old Paul Smith.
Both victims were experienced pilots from Co Meath and were killed when their plane crashed near Blackstairs Commons on the Carlow-Wexford border.
The bodies remained at the scene on Mount Leinster overnight with Gardaí and the Coast Guard leading recovery efforts.
Investigations into the cause of the crash will continue over the coming days.
