Parks in the North West of the city are the most rat-infested.
The City Council was called out to deal with the problem there, more than in any other part of Dublin.
It forked out almost 18 thousand euro on pest control in the city's parks last year.
Today's Irish Daily Star reports almost 6 and a half thousand euro was spent in parks in Glasnevin, Ballymun and Finglas.
